Studio Sander Mulder & Studio van Keulen are the driving forces behind Something.events, because we believe that good concepts need good execution.
Every year during the Dutch Design week in Eindhoven we organize the ‘Something Bigger’ event in the different areas of the former Schellens factory complex.
We offer over 1200 m2 floorspace filled with design related presentations from small indepents designers to large universities and/or collaborations.

The location
The ‘Schellens factory’ is a former fabric factory located in the centre of Eindhoven, that is now a creative hub with designers, artists, makers a coffee roaster and beer brewery as residents. Something .bigger is spread trough the entire venue during the Dutch Design Week.

The different areas where the exhibtions will take place are:
1 ) Main hall
2) Coffee roaster
3) Studio Sander Mulder
4) Beer brewery
Floorplans with the exhibition spaces available and more info on pricing etc. are available upon request (mail only) for future participants. It is also possible to make an appointment (!) to come visit us and experience the venue on a viewing day, on which we will guide future participants around the building. In the menu on your right you can find even more images of individual participants and their presentations over the years.

Exhibition spaces – dimensions
Individual spaces starting from:
- 12-14 m2 ( sharing NOT possible )
- 15-19 m2 ( sharing NOT possible )
- 20-24 m2 ( sharing NOT possible )
Shared spaces starting from:
- 25-29 m2 ( sharing IS possible )
- 30-500m2 ( sharing IS possible )
- As you can see we do offer bigger spaces, up to a maximum of around 500m2.
Please always contact us for a custom quote when you need a big(ger) space.
SHARED space conditions: 1 central contact for us in all communication. You delegate within your group. 1 mention for PR / Press kit / publications.
Students/Graduates
We have a small number of TALENT spaces ONLY AVAILABLE for design students and recent (<1 year graduates) – proof to be submitted beforehand with your application.

If you have read and understood the above and want to partcipate in Something, please send an e-mail to info@something.events
In this e-mail mention:
- The desired area ( in SQM ) both in terms of the minimum space, and the maximum space you could work with.
- The project(s) you intend to showcase ( description and images ) and the way how ( your stand design ) description, sketch(es) image(es).
- A link to your portfolio or website, representing other works.
- Any comments, questions, special requests you migth have.
We will reply to you within 5 working days ( we get a lot of applications, so please bear with us if it takes a few days, calling the next day does not speed up the process ).
