The ‘Schellens factory’ is a former fabric factory located in the centre of Eindhoven, that is now a creative hub with designers, artists and makers as residents.
The event
During the Dutch Design Week we organize the ‘Something Bigger’ event. As we are all a small part of a bigger whole. Our lives are temporary and transitory on this earth. Yet we can take huge action toward outcomes that go beyond our own life, needs, comforts and desires – together. Something Bigger shows a diverse range of international exhibitors that are active in all fields of Design.
As a visitor you will find yourself wandering from beautiful Lighting & Furniture onto fragile Ceramics and scenic Photography. A little further cutting-edge 3D-printing technology is followed by a Fabric & Pattern design exhibition… to name only a few disciplines.
The Dutch Design Week
The Dutch Design Week celebrates a quarter century of shaping the future in Eindhoven from the 18 – 26th of October 2025. Under the theme ‘Past. Present. Possible.’, DDW reflects on its legacy, showcases today’s creative energy, and explores what design can become. A platform where ideas connect, possibilities open, and the future is designed together.
