Something Softer is about creating spaces that feel calm and inviting. Our work explores how furniture can shape the sound and atmosphere of a room. We create acoustic walls and lighting objects that absorb noise and add softness. Each wall is composed of separate segments, allowing its size and layout to be adapted to any interior. The result is not just functional, but also emotional – a gentleness you can see, hear, and feel.
Jasper Bloem works as a designer with a fascination for light and space. His practice moves between concept development, event production, and creating light-based objects.
Joran Bloem is a craftsman with a practical approach and minimalist aesthetic. He loves finding spatial solutions and pays close attention to quality and detail.
