Cibap, GLR, GLU, HMC, Mediacollege Amsterdam & SintLucas

Something Talented is a joint exhibition of six leading Dutch creative vocational schools: Cibap, Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam (GLR), Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht (GLU), Hout- en Meubileringscollege (HMC; Rotterdam and Amsterdam), Mediacollege Amsterdam, and SintLucas (Eindhoven). During Dutch Design Week 2025, young makers present tangible and innovative designs that reflect craftsmanship, creativity, and future-readiness. The works, ranging from sustainable products to digital art and design, demonstrate how ideas can be transformed into concrete results.

By joining forces, the schools showcase the power of collaboration in shaping new realities. The exhibition is part of the ‘Something Bigger’ event at Schellens Fabriek in Eindhoven and ties in with the DDW theme of 2025.

The six creative vocational schools are leading Dutch institutes in design, media, and craftsmanship. They educate thousands of young makers every year, who excel in creativity, craftsmanship, and future-oriented design. Together, they showcase the innovative power of vocational education as the foundation of the creative industry. Their collaboration highlights how young talent transforms ideas into tangible, inspiring results.
