Studio Kim Haagen
Between the Lines
This Dutch Design Week, Studio Kim Haagen presents foldable coffee tables and kinetic time sculptures. They are part of an exploration of how interior objects can shift between concept and function.
The exhibition features works at different stages, ranging from existing projects to pieces in development. Together, they offer a glimpse into a practice that shifts between movement, material, and meaning.
In my practice, I explore fundamental themes such as time and transition through tangible design. My work moves between the functional and the thought-provoking. With a balance between conceptual thinking and craftsmanship, I create objects that invite reflection, spark dialogue, and transform everyday encounters into moments of awe and awareness.
