MirroRe

Iranian Mirroring: Your Ally in Circular Interiors.
Activating Iranian mirror craftsmanship’s contemporary potential. Introduced as an accessible, scalable, upcycled, and collaboration-driven craft. Timeless reflections through mirrors from the past.

In the early 17th century, glass mirrors were introduced to Iran. Many arrived broken in transit; rather than being discarded, they were reimagined using the geometric principles of the tradition of Iranian muqarnas craftsmanship. The result was a distinctive art form, Iranian mirrorwork (Ayeneh-kari), born from resourcefulness and creativity. Inspired by this heritage, we founded mirroRE (Mirror REflection REimaging).

We activate the contemporary potential of Iranian mirrorwork to maximize dialogue with design professionals and market through accessible, scalable, bespoke solutions for interiors and furnishings. At DDW, we present our startup, mirroRE, designing and executing Iranian mirror craftsmanship, highlighting its unique bespoke nature, resourcefulness in circularity, and contemporary potential for collaboration; all reflecting and resonating with the future of the interior design market.

We are storytellers of mirrors.
