The ACTIVE ECO FURNITURE concept promotes healthy working and learning through furniture with a low ecological footprint. The collection comprises *Falabella* – a kneeling chair – and *Grutto* – a sit-stand-lean stool. Both seating pieces encourage a different, healthier way of sitting, foster an active posture, and offer a fresh perspective. They are manufactured using a unique approach: they can be transported flat and assembled like a puzzle.
For Dutch Design Week (DDW), StudioVIX collaborated with SAM Panels to create a version made from bio-based, non-toxic sheet material derived from pure Dutch roadside grass and recycled denim. The seating pieces are cut from a single sheet and assembled like a puzzle, without the use of glue.
